To assess and demonstrate the viability of implementing vehicle-to-grid technology with electric school buses (ESBs) and showcase the technology’s potential to leverage ESBs as viable energy storage sources while achieving balance on the grid.
All sites have successfully received interconnection approval and permit-to-operate (PTO). Testing and data collection activities commenced in June 2025 and are scheduled to continue through Q4 2025. Additionally, the first pilot stakeholder engagement survey has been launched to capture early responses.
